6th Year students who, over the past two years, have been taking part in the Power2Progress programme took part in a Mock Trial, facilitated by Zurich Ireland staff members, led by Louise Beirne (past-pupil).
The P2P programme is organised by UCD and funded by Zurich.

This year's Music & Culture Week takes place from Monday to Friday, January 23rd to 27th.
Alongside a busy programme of music workshops and performances, there are lots of other literary and cultural events to satisfy everyone's taste

On Wednesday, December 21st, Monica Davidson, the School Secretary, will retire after over twenty years of loyal service to St Kilian's Community School. Monica's kindness to everyone, her friendly voice and welcoming smile have brightened the lives of everyone down through the years. She will be greatly missed by students, staff, parents and families alike. We wish Monica a long and very happy retirement.

Careers/College Awareness Week takes place from December 5th to 9th.This year there are about thirty talks, with a strong emphasis on presentations from past pupils who have gone on to a wide and varied range of successful careers.

St Kilian's CS will hold its Open Night on the evening of Tuesday, September 27th, from 6.45pm to 8.45pm.
All primary school pupils and their parents, guardians and families are invited to join us as we celebrate our school and its students.
Past pupils and friends are also very welcome.

After a two-year hiatus, the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes is taking place again this year, from September 7th to 12th.
This year, St Kilian's is represented by four 6th Year students, Abbie Costello, Brian Byrne, Marcos O'Reilly and Lucy Sky Moore O'Gorman, who are accompanied by Ms Mary Casey.
We extend best wishes to them for a succesful and enjoyable trip.

The school recently took delivery of a large order of student lockers, with all students now being automatically issued with a locker on registration.
The new lockers are creating a great splash of colour on the corridors!
