A very successful Transition Year was brought to a close with the annual TY night for parents and guardians on May 31st. The student-led event gave a comprehensive overview of the wide range of events, activities and experiences enjoyed across the school year. There was also time for lots of awards and for the students' portfolios to be viewed by all the guests. All agreed that a lot of growing up and maturing had taken place and that the students were now well-prepared to achieve well at Senior Cycle.

The 6th Years had their night in the spotlight on the evening of Thursday, May 25th at the school's sports hall. This was the first school-based graduation night since 2019; alternative arrangements had to be made in the intervening years.
This year's graduating class had 'Up, Up and Away!' as their theme. It was a very special night of reminiscing and celebrating and wishing this fine group of young people the very best in their future lives. Everyone joined with their Year Head, Mr. Paul Connolly, in expressing great pride in the Class of 2023.

This year's TY students participated in a very successful Career Success programme with Elavon Inc. and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ireland. This initiative was facilitated by Junior Achievement Ireland.
