Congratulations to Colin Keogh (Leaving Cert 2007) who has made the 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Europe. Colin, who is a research engineer at UCD, was nominated for his work in the area of Science and Healthcare

Congratulations to the Under-17 Boys' Football Team and to their manager, Mr Jenkins, on winning the Wicklow-Wexford League Final on Friday, January 27th.
In the final, St Kilian's beat Coláiste An Átha, Kilmuckridge, on a 4-1 scoreline.

St Kilian's has been partnered with Amgen, Dún Laoghaire, through the Business in the Community programme. During the 2016-2017 school year, Mr Dunne's 5th Year Biology class will benefit greatly from a range of supports provided by Amgen personnel.
St Kilian's CS warmly welcomes this partnership and looks forward to working with Amgen in the years ahead.

Mr Dunne's 5th Year Biology class spent an amazing day in UCD's Medical and Veterinary schools on Tuesday, December 13th.The trip was hosted by past-pupil, Dr Daniel Crean, who works at the Conway Institute and Veterinary Science Centre, UCD.

The annual Christmas Craft Fair on Friday, December 9th, was again a tremendous success. Parents from St Kilian's CS joined forces with those from St Fergal's NS for one of the most enjoyable days in the school calendar. Many thanks to the schools' Home School and Community Liaison Coordinators, Ms Siobhán Garvey and Ms Emma O'Sullivan, for organising this event.

On Tuesday, December 13th, St Kilian's CS hosted Adam Harris from AsIAm for a series of Autism Awareness workshops with the Transition Year classes. The workshops were hugely informative and engaging.
Thanks to Ben Rowsome (TY), a member of AsIAm's Youth Forum, for proposing and helping to organise this very worthwhile event.

College Awareness Week takes place from November 21st to 25th. St Kilian's will host a wide range of speakers from all of the major Universities and important Colleges of Further Education.
Parents and Guardians are encouraged to attend any of the talks that they feel will be helpful for their sons/daughters.

Congratulations to Daina Moorehouse (3rd Year) and Shannon Reilly (5th Year) who won Silver and Bronze medals, respectively, as part of the successful Irish Women's Boxing team at the Queen's Cup tournament in Germany recently.
Well done, also, to Nicole Keogh (3rd Year) who has been selected on the Leinster under-15 Girls' Soccer team.
