All parents and guardians are invited to a talk on internet safety and responsible social media use at St Fergal's NS PE Hall on Wednesday, November 16th at 9.15am. The talk will be facilitated by Sergeant John Fitzpatrick and has been organised by the Home School and Community Liaison teachers at St Kilian's CS and St Fergal's NS.

It's reunion season! The Class of 1986, the school's first Leaving Cert group, had a very enjoyable 30th Anniversary Reunion on Saturday, October 8th at The Martello Hotel. The Class of 2001 had a 15th Anniversary celebration in September, while the Class of 1996 will have a 20th Anniversary celebration, upstairs at the Harbour Bar, on Saturday, October 22nd. Tickets for this event are available at the school.

Best wishes to Sixth Year students Saoirse Kane, Aislinn De Barra, Yasmin Keogh, Chloe Kehoe and Niamh Devlin who, accompanied by their Year Head, Mr Connolly, are in Lourdes this week, as helpers on the annual Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage.

A very warm 'Welcome Back' to all students and staff from what, we hope, was a very enjoyable summer break. A special welcome to our First Year students and to those students transferring from other local schools and abroad. We hope that you will be very happy at St Kilian's.

Congratulations to the 5th Year Music Class and their teacher, Ms O'Sullivan, whose original song "Fight for Freedom's Cost" was Highly Commended in the 2016 Walton's Music for Schools competition.
This year's competition had a 1916 theme, and the school's entry commemorated Edward Daly's part in the rising.
