A very warm 'Welcome Back' to all students and staff from what, we hope, was a very enjoyable summer break. A special welcome to our First Year students and to those students transferring from other local schools and abroad. We hope that you will be very happy at St Kilian's.
Many thanks to all of the staff of the school and the Parents' Association and student volunteers who have worked so hard over the summer months.

Congratulations to Mr Donohoe and the Green School Committee who were rewarded for two years' hard work when presented with the school's first Green Flag in a ceremony at Croke Park on Wednesday, May 4th.

Congratulations to the 5th Year Music Class and their teacher, Ms O'Sullivan, whose original song "Fight for Freedom's Cost" was Highly Commended in the 2016 Walton's Music for Schools competition.
This year's competition had a 1916 theme, and the school's entry commemorated Edward Daly's part in the rising.

St Kilian's CS joined with schools across the country in marking the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising, by celebrating Proclamation Day on Tuesday, March 15th.

Seventeen students from St Kilian's performed as part of a choir of 700, at the Emmanuel 2016 event, at the Helix Theatre on February 29th.

Multicultural Day 2016 was held on Friday, January 30th and was a tremendous success. The day was a great celebration of the cultural diversity at St Kilian's, where there are now over thirty nationalities represented in the student population.
