I have attached letters, for your attention, received in recent days from:
The proposed timeline for the return to school of students is as follows:
We have welcomed the 6th Years back to school today, and we hope that they will have a stable, uninterrupted run-in to the Leaving Certificate examinations in June. All going well, and if the national situation continues to improve, the rest of the students will return on the dates listed. This cannot happen soon enough!
In the meantime, live classes will continue for 1st to 5th Years, according to the timetables that they have been following since January 11th. We appreciate your continued support in encouraging your sons/daughters and ensuring they attend all of their classes. The online classes have been a huge success and this is a great tribute to all involved; you their parents/guardians, the teachers and, most of all, the students themselves. We just need to keep things going for a few more weeks!
I wish you all a safe and relaxing weekend and hope that you and your families can enjoy the improved weather, within the guidelines that we all still have to observe.
We look forward to a full reopening of school on Monday, April 12th.
