Multicultural Day

Multicultural Day, has been held annually on the last Friday in January since 2015. It is a celebration of the cultural diversity in our school community. It has become a calendar highlight, and is a testimony to the school’s commitment to inclusion. The centrepiece of the day is a major food fair, with students and their families preparing national dishes and delicacies from both far-flung countries and ones nearer to home. Each year there are presentations and workshops focusing on cultural aspects of various countries. Recent contributions have been from Nigeria, Japan, Brazil, China and France. International-themed concerts, face-painting and banner-festooned corridors all add to the carnival atmosphere.
