St Kilian's Under-19 footballers tasted defeat in the Leinster final on Friday, May 9th.
They were beaten by a strong Coláiste Éanna, Rathfarnham team in blustery conditions at Jackson Park, Kilternan.
Commiserations go to the team and their managers, Mr Donohoe and Mr Duggan, but also congratulations on a hugely successful season.

There will be a meeting at the school on Thursday, May 1st at 7pm.
This meeting is for 3rd Year students and their parents/guardians and will provide information on Transition Year and Leaving Cert Applied.
All 3rd Years and their parents/guardians are expected to attend.

Easter Supervised Study takes place on Monday-Thursday during Week 1 and on Tuesday-Friday during Week 2.
The study session is from 9am to 1pm each day, with a break at 11am.

On Friday, April 25th, St Kilian's will welcome a group of students and teachers from Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium in Würzburg, Germany. This is the 31st year of the very successful twinning with our Bavarian friends.
Our visitors and their hosts will have a busy schedule, before returning to Würzburg on May 3rd.
Trips include Glendalough, Newgrange, the National Gallery and National Museum.
They will also be guests at a Civic Reception at Bray Town Hall.

The highlight of the school's Seachtain na Gaeilge was a Céilí Mór on the corridor on Friday, March 14th, with all the students taking part.
There were also other very successful events including the Ceolchoirm and Tráth na gCeist.

Written Mock examinations take place from Tuesday, February 25th to Friday, March 7th.
Supervised Study continues for the duration of the Mocks.

Supervised Study will take place from Monday to Friday during the Mid-Term Break.
Study takes place from 9am to 1pm each day, with a break at 11am when a lunch will be supplied.
A very small number of the 60 available places is still available. Those interested should contact the school office (01-2828126).

Community Garda, Stephen Heffernan, will give a talk to parents/guardians on Wednesday, March 12th at 9.30am at the school.
Garda Heffernan is specialised in the areas of Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying and his talk promises to be both helpful and informative.
This talk will be held in conjunction with talks given by Garda Heffernan to the Transition Years.
