Multicultural Day 2018 was another outstanding success, with fantastic participation from students, their families and the staff of the school. The annual event is a tremendous celebration of the school's inclusive ethos and the diversity in our school community.

Welcome to our twenty-two student guests, accompanied by two of their teachers, from our partner school, Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium in Würzburg, Germany. This year, our Würzburg friends will visit from April 6th to 14th. This is the thirty-sixth year of the exchange, which started in 1983. We hope that everyone has a great time over the next week.

Update 1: The school will remain closed on Thursday and Friday, March 1st and 2nd.
Notice: St. Kilian's CS will remain closed today, Wednesday February 28th, and until further notice, due to the adverse weather conditions and the Status Red Weather Notice. Please consult this website, the school's Facebook page and local media for updates.

Congratulations to Cherie Pageot (5LCA) who recently became a World Champion at the World Irish Dancing Championships held in Castlebar. Cherie dances with the Berry Irish Dance Academy in Bray.

Congratulations to the peer leaders who raised €3,890 for Pieta House before Christmas. The majority of the members of the group, which is based at Ballywaltrim Community Centre, are students at St Kilian's.

On the evening of December 13th, 2017, the Polish community of St Kilian's CS came together at the school, to celebrate Wigilia, Polish Christmas Eve.

The school's current and past Polish students and their families are invited to Wigilia at St Kilian's CS on Wednesday, December 13th at 6.00pm. Wigilia is the traditional Polish Christmas Eve celebration.
