Welcome back to all students and staff for the 2019-2020 school year.
A special welcome to our new First Year students and to the 30+ new students who have transferred to St Kilian's from other local schools and from further afield.
We hope that the new school year will be a happy and successful one for everyone.

In March 2019, the DES Inspectorate conducted a Whole School Evaluation at St Kilian's. These inspections take place about every ten years or so.
The report has now been published and we are delighted to say that it is extremely positive. The full report can be downloaded here, along with a summary that was published in the school's newsletter in July 2019.

Best wishes to our 21 students, from across all year groups, who will visit Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany from April 26th to May 5th. The group, accompanied by Mr Brian Duggan and Ms Sarah Watson, are guests of Matthias Grünewald Gymnasium, St Kilian's partner school for over 35 years. Gute Reise!

Best wishes to everyone for a Happy Easter holiday.
Supervised Study will take place on each weekday, apart from Good Friday and Easter Monday, from 9.00am until 1.00pm. The total cost per student is €15. A lunch will be provided each day. 3th, 5th and 6th Year students are strongly encouraged to attend.

From Monday, February 25th to Friday, March 1st, St Kilian's CS held a mental health awareness week, called Mind Your Mind Week. The week promoted positive mental health and well-being, through a series of events like the 'School Spin', social media workshops and the 'Weighted Walk'.

On Friday, February 15th St. Kilian's Community School went "orange" for 'Cycle Against Suicide'. This initiative aims to promote positive mental health and highlight the importance of conversations within this area.
